Day 0: Arrival at B&B La Rocca and welcome aperitif.

Day 2: Lake of Vico, Viterbo and Soriano nel Cimino

Description: you first reach the lake of Vico (550 mt) through a road of chestnut tree and then the highest "Passo" of the area: Passo Cimino (890 mt). To get there you have a total of 10km of hill, in particular the hardest part is the first one (we call it "La Vite") where the gradient is more than 10%.Then downhill to Viterbo, worth a visit San Pellegrino quarter. On the way back you will pass through Bagnaia with Villa Lante and Soriano nel Cimino, then the old town of Sutri with its famous Roman Anphitheatre

Option2: Once in Viterbo, you come back from Tre Croci, Capranica

Option3: Once reached the lake of Vico, you will coast it and then go back passing through Ronciglione and Sutri

To visit: Viterbo, Villa Lante, the old town of Sutri

Day 3: Visit to Rome or Viterbo(Rest Day - of course optional)

We propose a break to visit Rome or Viterbo. By bus or train you will reach the city centre in less than 1 hour. If you want you can take your bike on the train.

Day 4: The Tuscia Maremmana and the Tolfa Mountains
Distance: 100 km Difficulty: High

On the last day, you will find a different landscape of the previous day: the Tuscia Maremmana with its rocky ground.
First of all you will quite easily head to the sea (32 km) and will follow the Via Aurelia coasting the sea. Then you take the direction to Tolfa. The first 12 km are almost all on the climb but it is worthy. This is my favourite hill: the gradients are quite constant and the landscape is beautiful: the sea behind you and the typical Maremma with the cows and horses around you. Once reached Tolfa, after 5 km of downhill, another effort to reach Canale Monterano, then you can easily come back to Oriolo and Bassano.

As goodbye, we will have a barbecue in our garden with typical meat of the Tuscia
